It is a segment of the broader “Consumption Cycle” series that depicts a Bear in relation to what it consumes and the recurring cycle of emotions and efforts involved with attainment, destruction and regeneration of the cycle. Here, the Bear is seen in a stage of action, effort, and determination. The pot, however, has been left on the ground potentially ruining the efforts of the bear, or suggesting that destruction of the hive is eminent.
